Joules & Joules Brown Iron Oxide Oil Bar is a derivation of our Brown Iron Oxide oil paint. In this process, safe quantities of beeswax and carnauba wax are added to the recipe, keeping the outer membrane solid, and the oil bar creamy inside. Joules & Joules Brown Iron Oxide is an opaque, and highly lightfast earthly orange-brown, with moderate tinting strength and high covering power. Its characteristic light brown hue makes it a favorite color for landscape paintings.
