Joules & Joules Carbon Black Oil Bar is a derivation of our Carbon Black oil paint. In this process, safe quantities of beeswax and carnauba wax are added to the recipe, keeping the outer membrane solid, and the oil bar creamy inside. Joules & Joules Carbon Black is a cool, opaque, and highly lightfast intense black, with excellent tinting strength and covering power. It has bluish undertones and an intermediary drying rate.
