Joules & Joules Chromium Oxide Green Oil Bar is a derivation of our Chromium Oxide Green oil paint. In this process, safe quantities of beeswax and carnauba wax are added to the recipe, keeping the outer membrane solid, and the oil bar creamy inside. Joules & Joules Chromium Oxide Green is a bright, warm, opaque, and highly lightfast green, with moderate tinting strength and high covering power. The characteristic earthly tone and yellowish-gray undertones make it ideal for landscape paintings. It is the most durable green pigment known.
