Handmade Oil Paint: Single-Pigment Colors - Synthetic Pigments

Cobalt Blue

Joules & Joules Cobalt Blue is a vibrant, semi-opaque, and highly lightfast intermediary blue with moderate tinting strength and covering power. Since 1804, when it was first made, it has been one of the most popular blue shades.  Additionally, commonly known as `true blue`, it features as the primary color blue in many artists' palettes due to its quality of neither being greenish nor purplish in its undertones.
