Observations
The combination of fluorescent dyes and resin produces fluorescent colors. They exhibit enhanced light reflectance when painted on white grounds or solely illuminated by UV lights. These colors are not permanent, and their brightness fades within months of daylight exposure. There are special UV-absorbing varnishes that can be applied over fluorescent colors. These varnishes do not prevent the fading of fluorescent pigments but slow down the rate at which they change.
Toxicity
Non-toxic. Avoid inhalation and contact with the powdered pigment and ingestion of the paint.
