Joules & Joules Naples Yellow Hue Oil Bar is a derivation of our Naples Yellow Hue oil paint. In this process, safe quantities of beeswax and carnauba wax are added to the recipe, keeping the outer membrane solid, and the oil bar creamy inside. Joules & Joules Naples Yellow Hue is a warm, opaque, and highly lightfast pale earthy yellow, with moderate tinting strength and covering power. Currently, very few oil paint companies produce this historic color with a single pigment. This is due to the fact that the original color, P 41, is made from Lead Antimonate, a highly toxic substance.

Observations
Not affected by diluted alkalis, acids, light, and air. Non-reactive with drying oils, hence has a slow drying time.
