Oil Bars: Single-Pigment Colors – Synthetic Pigments
Nickel Yellow Oil Bar
Joules & Joules Nickel Yellow Oil Bar is a derivation of our Nickel Yellow oil paint. In this process, safe quantities of beeswax and carnauba wax are added to the recipe, keeping the outer membrane solid, and the oil bar creamy inside. Nickel Yellow is a clear, pale, semi-opaque, and highly lightfast yellow, with low tinting strength and high covering power. It is a cool, bright, greenish yellow, excellent for composing an earthen-based color palette.
