Joules & Joules Phthalo Green Oil Bar is a derivation of our Phthalo Green oil paint. In this process, safe quantities of beeswax and carnauba wax are added to the recipe, keeping the outer membrane solid, and the oil bar creamy inside. Joules & Joules Phthalo Green is a dark, transparent, highly lightfast cool green with high tinting strength and low covering power. It is a vivid green with distinct bluish undertones. First manufactured in 1927, it became widely commercialized in the 1930s.
