Joules & Joules Sao Gotardo Green Earth Oil Bar is a derivation of our São Gotardo Green Earth oil paint. In this process, safe quantities of beeswax and carnauba wax are added to the recipe, keeping the outer membrane solid, and the oil bar creamy inside. Joules & Joules Sao Gotardo Green Earth is made from a naturally occurring green soil from the city of Sao Gotardo, Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is a transparent and highly lightfast grayish-green earth color with low tinting strength and covering power. It has a rough and clay-like texture, similar to some other mineral-based pigments.
