Joules & Joules Ochre Yellow Oil Bar is a derivation of our Ochre Yellow oil paint. In this process, safe quantities of beeswax and carnauba wax are added to the recipe, keeping the outer membrane solid, and the oil bar creamy inside. Joules & Joules Ochre Yellow is a cool, bright, semi-opaque, and highly lightfast earthly yellow, with moderate tinting strength and high covering power. Also known as Mars Yellow, it is an essential color in naturalistic palettes.
